There was an unfortunate accident in Featherston Street East about 4.45 o’clock yesterday afternoon as the result of which a motor cyclist, Mr R. Weston, a motor car salesman of Colyton, had to be admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital. It appears that two motor cars collided at the corner of Alan Street, one swerving and knocking Mr Weston against a fence, where he sustained a fractured right leg. The Free Ambulance conveyed him to the Hospital where his condition was reported to be quite satisfactory to-day. The occupants of both cars escaped injury.
