BROADCASTING PARLIAMENT.
SUGGESTION NOT FAVOURED. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. “It is regretted that the request cannot be given favourable consideration.” This was the reply given by Hon. A. Hamilton in the House to-day to the recent suggestion of Mr D. McDougall that a microphone should be installed in Parliament so that listeners could hear members’ speeches as they wero delivered.
