THE DOG NUISANCE.

(To tli© Editor). Sir, —On arriving in your fair city to take up business I was very pleased to bear that there had been a by-law passed where all dogs parading in the city must be on a leash. Now either my informant was a stranger to the truth, or the inspectors of this town are blind in both eyes. Which ? I have been a resident in every city in New Zealand, and never have I found the streets and shop fronts in such a disgusting state from these filthy creatures as they are in Palmerston North. In my native city, Christchurch, the inspectors would have these creatures in the destructor in less than five minutes. Palmerston North is one of the nicest and prettiest cities I have had the pleasure of residing in. Why not keep it so?Yours faithfully, FED UP.
