MONSTER AUCTION SALE.
In an advertisement on page 1 the Palmerston North Central Relief Committee give some further particulars in reference to the monster jumble auction sale they aro conducting at tho Showgrounds on Thursday, Ist December. The idea is for the public to send along anything at all which can be converted into money. Tho contributions whether they be produce, clothing, tools, implements, poultry or live stock will be ranged in order and an auction sale will commence at 11 a.m. Refreshments will be obtainable at the sale. Buyers will be able to fill their requiremnets at their own price as there will be no reserve on any of the lots offered. Further announcements will be made nnd meantime various committees will engage on a canvas for their respective offerings. The whole of the proceeds will bo utilised to nssist the unemployed peoplo of the city. i '
