(To the Editor). Sir, —I read with great interest Air William Thomson’s letter in your issue of Saturday. Speaking of one who has worked on farms for years, and one wlio knows farmers and their difficulties, I say emphatically the only cure for the farmers is to cut their mortgage down by one-third. If Parliament does not the farmers will be bankrupt; if they do they will be saved and so will the Dominion. I am, etc., _ A RUINED FARAIER.
