UTUWAI.

UTUWAT, Sept. 17. Ono of tho most, enjoyable dances held this season eventuated in the Utuwai Hall on Wednesday evening, when the Uimitoi Tennis Club hold another of Hie series of functions which have proved popular throughout the winter. There was a large attendance. Mr M. C. Arnadio was M.C. and tlio time passed all too quickly. Music was supplied by Misses J. Senile ami M. Signal and Messrs J. Cawood and E. Buekman. Novelty dances were played by Mr 1,. Brough on an accordeon, accompanied by Mr A. IT. McNan with his banjo. Air K. Waterson, of Apili, also contributed extras on his saxaphone. An enjoyable supper was served by the ladies’ committee.
