ALLEGED COUNTERFEIT COINS.

SYDNEY, Sept. 14. At the Police Court four Chine so wero committed for trial for conspiring to utter counterfeit coins. Accused are all young men, immaculately dressed. Bail in sureties of £3OO each was granted. Tho Crown case was that they sought to utter 10,000 shillings bearing the dato 1928, all of which were deficient in silver content. The coins are regarded as the best imitation of recent years. Allegedly they were brought systematically from Hong Kong.
