PROGRESS OF MANAWATU TOURNEY.

SECOND ROUND PLAY

The Manawatu ladies’ golf championship tourney was continued at tho Hokowliitu links this afternoon, when light rain fell during the playing of tho second rounds in the championship and the Hokowliitu Handicap. At the time of going to press, the only match concluded in the second round of the championship was that in which Miss B. Gaisford, the New Zealand title holder, rather easily’ beat Miss Ormond.

HOKOWHITU HANDICAP.

Results in the second round of the Hokowliitu Handicap are:— Miss Jepson beat Miss Grace. Miss Dudding beat Mrs McDonell. Mrs Field beat Miss Openshaw. Miss Garner beat Miss Thicker.
