WARRIORS’ CHAPEL.

UNVEILING BY THE PRINCE OF WALES.

The Prince of Wales unveiled the Warriors’ Chapel in Westminster Abbey in June, and the altar, the screen, and other gilts for the adornment oi the chapel were dedicated by the Dean, Dr. Foxley Norris, to tlio memory of the million men and women of the 1 Empire who died m the Great War. 'Pile chapel is immediately to the south of tne west door and close to the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior. It was set apart for its present use some years ago and later was furnished with a tablet, the gift of the imperial' War Graves Commission, similar to those placed by the Commission in Notre Dame, Paris, and other Erench and Belgian cathedrals. Air Kipling wrote the inscription on the panel. It 1 “To the glory of God and to the memory of One Alillion Dead of the British Empire who fell in the great War, 1914-1918. They died in every quarter of the earth and on all its seas, and their graves are made sure to them bv their kin. The main host lie buried in the lands of our Allies of the War, who have set aside their resting-place in honour lor ever.” The Prince of Wales, having unveiled the chapel by drawing back the Union Jack, said:—“l foel it is a great privilege to have been invited to unveil this chapel and the screen, the gilts of so many mothers and so many relations of those who lost their lives in the War. I can think of no more fitting place than this' great Abbey for tliis Warriors’ Chapel.”
