WELLINGTON, Sept. 13. The miniature rifle competition for the Wliitcombe and Caldwell Cup this year was won by Sydenham, Christchurch, with 744, Hutt being runners up with 739. Timaru with an aggregate of 739 was third. S. O. Hay, Sydenham, won the season’s aggregate with 649 out of 650. L. S. Hare was second with 648.
