DAMAGE BY FIRE.
WHOLE BLOCK DESTROYED
Received September 13, 10.40 a.m. BRISBANE Sept. 13. Damage amounting to about £20,000 was caused by a fire which destroyed a block of 10 shops in Main Street, Kingaaroy. Owing to tho absence of a brigade, little could be done to prevent tho flames spreading from one end of tho block to tho other.
