REPORT DENIED
Received September 13, 10.20 a.m. SHANGHAI, Sept. 12. Tho British Legation denies the report that tho Chinese bandits require 250,000 dollars ransom for Mrs W. Pawley and Mr Charles Corkran, stating that Contact with tho bandits has not yet been established.
Mrs Pawley and Mr Corkran were kidnapped near Newel) a ng, Manchuria.
