CITY BAND CONCERT.

The fifth of a series of popular concerts organised I>v the Palmerston North City Band will ho held in the Opera House, to-morrow night, nt 7.45 o clock. Mr G. Smith, the popular song-loader, will lead tho community sing, assisted hy Mr Les Matter at the pinno. The following programme will lie presented : Band, march, “Victoria”; “Pirates of Penzance”; community sing: Miss Milly Pcjiketh, song; Master Kevin O’Connor, recitation; Miss Jean Scott, dance; Master Leo King, song; Messrs L. Findlay and M. Wilson, musical item; Master E. Catterick, elocution; Mrs Garde Grimshaw, song; Niss Dobson, recitation; Mr King, ventriloquist; Miss L>. Saunders, elocution; Misses B. Muir and B. Jones, dance; Mr G. Smith, recitation, “Hole in the Hoad” ; Mr and Mrs Garde Grimshaw, song; hand, “Postman’s Parade,” march.
