WILSON CUP GAME

WANGANUI RETAIN TROPHY.

The Manawatu Golf Club presented a challenge to Wanganui for the Wilson Cup at Wanganui during the week-end, but after a close struggle failed in their objective by the small margin of two points. GAME AT HOKOWHTTU. While the A teams were engaged at Belmont, the B teams participated in a match at Hokowhitu. The visiting party consisted of 24 players and an interesting series brought with it a comfortable victory for the home team. Following are the detailed results, Manawatu players reading first. —

FEILDING v. RANGITIKEI.

The Feilding Golf Club visited the Bulls links on Saturday afternoon for tho return match with the Rangitikei Club and wore defeated by a comfortable margin. At the conclusion of tho games Mr W. E. Carthew expressed the thanks of the visitors for the hospitality shown them, Mr K. W. Dalrymple, president, of the Bulls club, acknowledging the remarks made.
