DETERIORATION IN QUALITY,

Received September 10, 10.10 a.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 10. Mr C. W. Buckley, who holds a diploma in textiles, a qualification of the University of Leeds, said on his arrival in Sydney that the quality of Australian wool had deteriorated. Mr Buckley was sent by Professor S. Barker, director of the Wool Industries Research Association, to make inquiries with the view to the restoration of Australian wool to its former position.
