Suicide while of unsound mind was the verdict at the inquest on Miss Helen Saintsbury, the actress. . The Coroner described the tragedy as due to the loneliness of widowhood and mental distress coupled with insomnia and financial anxiety. The evidence showed that her husbands suicide had preyed on her mind.
