Mr Schmitt, the New Zealand Government agent, lias arrived to display a number of new films ol New Zealand scenery and activities ranging from sword fishing in the north to alpine climbing in the south, with" depictions of the thermal regions and pastoral occupations, with special pictures showing wool’s progress from the sheep’s back to a warm travelling rug. As the films were shown here during the coldest spell on record, the beholders at the private screening before those interested and travel agencies found the alpine activities so realistic that the sight of the rug was necessary to restore comfortable circulation in the shivering bodies.
