MANAWATU ART UNION.

RESULT OF DRAWING. The public art union in connection with the Manawatu Society of Arts exhibition was drawn last night, when the exhibition was officially closed after having been accorded excellent support from the public during the 10 days that it had been open. Tlie successful ticket holders are : —First prize, Mr C. E. Cooksley, Longburn; second, Mr D. Thurston, Taihape; third, Mr J. C. Young, Palmerston North.
