DUKE OF GLOUCESTER.

SATISFACTORY PROGRESS. (Britsh Official Wireles.) Received August 24, 11.0 a.m. RUGBY, Aug. 23. The King this afternoon visited his third son, the Duke of Gloucester, who underwent an operation for app’endecitis. His Majesty spent some time at the bedside of the patient. The following bulletin, signed by tho surgeon and doctor in attendance, was issued this morning: “The Duke of Gloucester passed as comfortable a night as can be expected, and his condition continues satisfactory.” Tonight’s bulletin states that the Duke’s condition continues satisfactory.
