ORION MOTOR CLUB
PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. Over eighty members of the Orion Motor Cycle Club and their friends attended a pleasant social in the Orient Hall. last evening. The president, Mr W. 11. Miller, in presenting the trophies and prizes von during the past season, extended the thanks of the club to the ladies and friends of members who had so ably assisted at the eight reliability trials and five picnics held during the season. Thanks were also expressed to the officials who had organised the trials. The winners of trophies were as follow: —Bruce and Bai Cup and replica : C. Newson (Foxton); gold medal, T. H. Robson (Bunnythorpe); silver medal, E. Petersen (Palmerston North). Hickford Cup: Won outright by C. Newson; gold medal. I. Taylor (Palmerston North); silver medal, T. Bruce (Palmerston North). Bai Cup and replica: T. H. Robson ; gold medal, I. Taylor; silver medal,' S. Hickford (Owaliuri). P. and M. Cup and replica: I. Taylor; gold medal. V. Hansen (Palmerston North); silver medal, L. Radford (Palmerston North). Winter Cup and replica: L. Radford; gold medal, S. Hickford: silver medal, W. Miller (Palmerston North). Har-ley-Davidson Cup and replica: M. Birch (Longburn); gold medal, W. Miller; silver medal, S. Hickford. Orion Challenge Cup and replica: A. F. Rasmussen (Pahiatua); gold medal, J. Manning (Palmerston North); silver medal, E. Pink (Palmerston North). Norton Cup: A. F. Rasmussen. Palsey Cup and replica: E. Pink; gold medal, J. Montgomerie (Avahuri); silver medal, J. Manning The evening passed pleasantly with dancing, games, and items.
