KOREANS ATTACKED.
MANCHURIAN SITUATION COMPLICATED. TQKIO, July 3. Five hundred Chinese, assisted by Chinese police, attempted to disperse 200 Koreans who were constructing an irrigation channel near Chang Hun. The Japanese police, helped by reinforcements with a machine-gun, kept the Chinese at bay.
The Koreans are Japanese subjects. The incident further complicates' the Manchurian situation, which is already grave.
