RIFLE SHOOTING.
OROUA DOWNS CLUB,
The annual meeting of the Oroua Downs Miniature Rifle Club was held in the hall on Wednesday last. Those present were Messrs E. and C. Christensen, J. Conlan, iVI darker, A. Cates, A. Shailer, L. Burling, W. Spicer, A. Albrey, W. and S. and G. Robinson, C. Conlan, J. Robertson and M. Mills. The following were elected officers for the season: President, Mr E. Christensen; secretaries, Messrs M. Mills and A. Gates; committee, Messrs C. Conlan, A. Albrey, and W. Robinson; range officers, Messrs C. Conlan, E. Christensen and A. Albrey; target officers, Messrs K. Cotton and A. Shailer. Thanks wero accorded the supervisors and concert party from Sanson for their kindness in offering to give half the funds of the concert to the club. This generous offer was accepted.
