The Department of Commerce has announced that the United States foreign trade for March increased by 49,000,000 dollars to a total approximately of 500,000,000 dollars. At the same time Mr Roger Babson, a prominent statistician, advised President Hoover that the United States business had definitely improved, and that he would not bo surprised to see a shortage of labour before the end of the year in certain lines.
