Received April 17, 10.5 a.m. NEW YORK, April 16. At Miami Beach on Thursday Mr Gar Wood came within .43 of a mile per hour of equalling Mr Kaye Don’s The two fastest of six runs were the fourth and fith, which were 102.89, and 103.249 respectively. Fouled spark plugs caused the conclusion of the efforts for the day.
