SENATOR’S QUESTION,

In th© Senate to-day. Senator Duncan asked if it was a fact that an investigation by the Ordinance Department in' Sydney recently revealed that eighteen machine guns had been stolen from th© stores; also whether police officers armed with warrants had searched certain Sydney stores. The assistant Minister of Works, Senator J. B. Dooley, asked that notice of the question bo given. ALL FOR AUSTRALIA LEAGUE. SEPARATE POLITICAL ORGANISATION. Received April 17. 10.5 a.m. SYDNEY, April 17. The All for Australia League has decided definitely to have nothing to do with the Nationalist Party and will appeal direct to the people as a separate political organisation. The president of the league, Mr Gibson, stated to-day that the decision meant that a large body of electors desired honest finance and fair dealing in preference to machine-controlled politics.
