CHURCH SERVICES.

To-morrow is Foreign Mission Sunday in St. Paul’s Methodist Church, when Rev. J. R. Metcalfe will conduct the morning service, while Rev. ,T. D. McArthur will be the preacher at the evening service. Rev. Mr Metcalfe, who is at present on furlough from the Solomon Island mission field, has worked there for many years and has a thrilling story to tell of the trials and triumphs of mission work. All who are interested in the church’s most important task are warmly invited to these services. The annual foreign mission meeting will be held on Wednesday, 22nd, when Rev. Mr Metcalfe will again be the speaker. Rev. G. T. Brown, M.A., will be tho preacher at both services at St. Andrew’s Church to-morrow. In the morning he will take as his subject “Three Sufficient Reasons.” The evening address will be especially for young men and women; the subject will be “The Great Hazard.” In the Oroua Hall to-morrow night tho first of a series of addresses on great world changes will be given. The subject to-mor-row night wil be “Religious Infidelity,_ or Christ or Compromise.” As each subject is related to the other those interested are urged to hear all. Written questions solicited.
