13 CLASS STATIONS. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Jan. 19. At a meeting of the executive of the Radio Listeners’ League, this afternoon, a letter was received from Air J. D. AlcKewen on behalf of the B class stations 4ZO, 4ZL and 4ZAI, advising that those stations would cease transmission from to-day. This 6tep, the letter stated, lrad been forced on the stations by the Copyright Association of Australasia, Ltd., which had advised that its favours had ceased from December 31.

The league was asked to communicate with the Postmaster-General, asking for his assurance that this would not in way affect the licenses of stations or privileges which they now enjoyed. A telegram has been sent by the league to the Postmaster-General as requested, and a reply is now being awaited. The league is in communication with all 13 class stations, and information has been received that station 4ZP, Invercargill, is also closing down.
