SHOCKING TRAGEDY.

GRIM DISCOVERY BY YOUNG GIRL.

ADELAIDE, Aug. 28. A terrible tragedy is reported from Coekburn, near Broken Hill. Mrs Clara Crowe, aged 35, was found dead in bed to-day with a rifle bullet in her bead. The head was also mutilated with an axe.

The woman’s husband, David Crowe, who is a railway porter, was found to have taken poison. Ho is in a critical condition.

The grime discovery was made by a thirteen-year-old daughter of the unfortunate pair.
