FEDERAL TAXATION.
RECOVERY . IN SHARES.
Received August 28, 9.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Aug. 27. The pronounced slump in movie and brewery shares on the Stock Exchange was shortlived. There was a sharp recovery this afternoon on all picture concerns. When it was announced that the increased taxation would be passed on to the public, brewery shares made a marked recovery.
