SCHNEIDER TROPHY.
ITALY’S INTENITIONS. no officialTntimation. (British Official Wireless.) Received August 28, 9.5 a.m. RUGBY. Aug. 26. Up to a late hour last night no official intimation had reached the Royal Aero Club, which has charge of the' arrangements for the race for the Schneider Cup, as to Italy’s intentions. It is understood that even if there is no challenge the British machines will fly over the course, and it is also regarded as certain that the British pilots will attempt to set up new world speed records. CAPTAIN MOTTA’S BODY FOUND. (Australian Press Association —United Service.) ROME, Aug. 27. After a search lasting four days the body of Captain Motta, who was to have represented Italy in the race for the Schneider Cup next month, was discovered to-day in Lake Garda. Captain Motta was flying at a very high speed when liis ’plane crashed.
