COAL DISPUTE.
N.S.W. CRISIS. GENERAL UPHEAVAL DEFERRED. SYDNEY, July 4. A general upheaval in the coal industry has been deferred for the present. The Enginedrivers’ Council is preparing a statement for the information of the Mining Industry Unions’ Conference, which will be held shortly, and on the decision of which will depend the future attitude of the Enginedrivers’ Association.
Meanwhile the Coal Commission is hearing further evidence from coal officials in camera.
