BANK HOLD UP.
MAN AND WOMAN ARRESTED. ADELAIDE, July 4. In connection with yesterday’s bank hold-up, the police have arrested a man and a woman at the country town of Swan Peach. The names of the pair are John Walker, aged 27, and Lorraine Delanty, aged 22. Walker was charged with robbery under arms. Delanty has not been charged yet. An armed robber held up the North Adelaide branch of the Government Savings Bank at midday on Wednesday. He shut the manager and his assistant in the vault, and stole £6OO, escaping in a car driven by a woman.
