Last evening a meeting was held for the purpose of forming a Manawatu Tramping Club. Mr F. Yortt presided ovor an excellent attendance, including a number of ladies. The following committee . was appointed to purchase equipment, draw up a programme for the season and prepare a set of rules: —Messrs L. Seymour (secretary); D. Glendinning, W. Birnie, J. Silson, G.
