FIRE IN AUCKLAND.
WINTER EXHIBITION BUILDING. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 27. At 11.30 last night fire broke out in the sideshow section of the Auckland Winter Exhibition. The sheds had been locked, but several of the operators remained for some time after the closing hour. Though the alarm was first given by the niglitwatchman, the fire evidently, had been burning for several minutes, as the flames penetrated the wall in two places, also lodging in the roof. The brigade were quickly on the scene and soon had the outbreak controlled, with little damage. J
