GENEVA CONFERENCE.
CABINET TO MEET AGAIN. INSTRUCTIONS TO DELEGATES. LONDON, July 25. Contrary to expectations, there was no full Cabinet meeting to-day for discussion of the Genova negotiations, but the subject will be considered separately by a Cabinet committee, a section of the Imperial Defence Committee, and the full Cabinet to-mor-row, when Mr Bridgem'an and Viscount Cecil will be given final instructions for dealing with the American objections to the Anglo-Japanese compromise, which is now the basis of discussion. The Daily Telegraph says: “Our Ambassador at Washington has been instructed to protest vigorously against the unchecked anti-British propaganda and misrepresentation of British statements which have characterised a considerable section of the American press since the Geneva conference opened.— A. and N.Z. cable.
