SUDDEN DEATH.
EXPIRES IN WIFE’S ARMS. Per Press Association. PAHIATUA, July 27. Michael Hastings Scanlon, aged 83, an old sottler of Kaitawa, expired suddenly in his wife’s anus last evening. No inquest is deemed necessary as deceased had suffered heart failure, which was aggravated by a severe cold. He leaves a widow and a family.
