CONFERENCE AT GENEVA. LONDON, June 15. The Exchange Agency’s Geneva correspondent says the Council, on tho recommendation of Dr. Stresemann, decided to convoke on October 17 for the purpose of launching an international convention to consider tho abolition of import and export restrictions, as recommended by tho Economic Conference. —A. and N.Z. cable. MANDATES COMMISSION. GENEVA, June 14. Dr. Stresemann had a private conversation with Sir Austen Chamberlain and M. Briaud, when lie strongly advocated tho representation of Germany on the Mandate Territories Commission. Sir Austen Chamberlain and M. Briand both opposed the suggestion, the former pointing out that his attitude was supported by the Dominions. —A. and N.Z. cable FIVE FOREIGN MINISTERS. RUGBY, June 14. The Times cites as confirmation of Sir Austen Chamberlain’s argument for a reduction in the number of League of Nations’ sessions that yesterday the agenda was completed by the council in the morning, leaving the rest of the day available for committee work. Five European countries, Britain, France, Germany, Poland and Belgium, are represented at the session by their foreign ministers. —British official wireless.
