PREVENTING THEIR SPREAD. Per Press Association. MARTON, Feb. 3. Replying to deputations from tho Huntervilie Rabbit Board and the Farmers’ Union, Hon. A. D. McLeod agreed with the suggestion that rabbit boards’ inspectors assist in preventing the check of noxious weeds in comparatively clean areas. He said a bill dealing hvith the problem was now being drafted. He saw no reason—and he thought the Minister of Agriculture would agree with him—why the proposal should not he included. The greatest problem was not regarding areas over-run with weeds, but to prevent their spread in comparatively clean areas.
