MINISTERIAL CAR.

ALTERATION IN COLOUR. [By Telegraph—Special to Standard.} AUCKLAND, Feb. 2. Attached to tiie rear of the second south express this evening was a Ministerial car resplendent in a new coat of midland red and its interior bright with numerous improvements and renovations. In the course of the annual overhaul at Newmarket improvements were added in view of the approaching visit of the Duke and Duchess of York. The car is now in pleasing contrast to the black coated car generally used by members of the Cabinet, and it follows the department’s progressive scheme of transforming the coats of the railway carriages to the new colour. The furnishings of the car are modern and comfortable.
