ACCIDENT IN THE WAIKATO., Per Press Association. HAMILTON, March 30. A middle uged woman, Mrs Lilian Castleton, employed as a housekeeper by Mr Masters, farmer, of Eureka, was engaged in washing when tho flames from tho copper ignited her clothos. No.ono was about at tho time. Tho unfortunato woman endeavoured to suppress tho flames by rolling on tho grass, but this did not succeed until the clothing was nothing but cinders. Sho managed to make her way into tho liouso, but sho was not discovered lor an hour.

Slip was removed to hospital, where sho lies in a serious condition.
