OUTBACK TRAGEDY.
MURDER CHARGE FOLLOWS. MELBOURNE, March 29. Following a quarrel between Janies McDonald and Mrs Angrove, both employed on the Clenloht station, Wyclieproof, McDonald was fatally shot with a shot gun. Later, Arthur Angrove, the husband of Mrs Angrove, was arrested on a charge of murder. It is alleged that McDonald and Mrs Angrove were quarrelling in the kitchen of the station homestead, when McDonald forced the woman’s head under a tap. Her husband heard her cries for help, and immediately after he entered the kitchen shooting occurred.—Press Association.
