AUSTRALIAN REPORT. Received Julv 15, 9.50 a.m. MELBOURNE, July 15. The report of the Inspector-General of Military Forces, which has been tabled, states that more money is needed and that the .training period for the citizen forces should at least be equal to the pre-war period. He adds that if the serious position in regard to the material was to be rectified within a reasonable time the purchase of war material from abroad could not be avoided.—Press Association.
