CASE BEFORE SUPREME COURT. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 14. An unusual situation in New Zealand confronted tho Chief Justice today in a petition for nullity of marriage, when the allegation of bigamy was preferred against respondent by the petitioner on the grounds, that, although when the ladv married him in Australia, she had secured a divorce from- her previous husband at Reno, she was still married to her former husband according to the laws of New York State, where the latter resided, as the New A’ork State refused to acknowledge the validity of “quick lunch” Reno divorces. His Honour granted the decree for nullity.
