In tile process of a daily chat with TAB, Brazil, Mr Patty dropped upon a station giving a general call to any other stations ami asking for reports on the signals, signed SMYY. Asking lAB to stand by, Mr Patty replied to SMYY and secured good contact at 13.15 p.m.. New Zealand time, maintaining communication until 4.45 p.in. The work constitutes a record lor the power used at 2AE
