The quota of boys from England who were expected to arrive at Palmerston North at noon to-day en route to Flock House were delayed in their departure from Wellington and were expected to arrive here by the Auckland express this afternoon.
Although the Palmerston North Philotelic Society is a comparatively young body, its membership is steadily growing and the-addition of two new members has raised its strength to 50. The places of residence of its members, however, extend over a wide area, Kaikohe, some 190 miles north of Auckland, in the north, and Timaru in the south figuring among the addresses.
