WEDDING.

A wedding of local interest was solemnised in St. Paul’s Church on April 4th, the contracting parties being Miss Elsie Koehler and Air Eric R. Franklin. The Rev, G. S. Cook officiated. The bride, who was given away by her undo, Air ii. Koehler, wore a charming frockof white rnarocain with side panels lined with pink crcpo-de-chcno embroidered with pink and silver beads and finished at the waist with hand-made flowers. She also wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of cream roses and maiden hair fern. The bridesmaid, .Miss Vera Franklin, wore a frock of cream t'ugi silk, ornamented with bugle beads, and a black hat, and carried a bouquet of lemon and pink dahlias with maiden hair fern. Two little flower girls, Eileen Pycroft, niece of the bridegroom, and Hazel Koehler, cousin of the, bride, wore dainty frocks of frieze organdie, their bouquets being begonias and autumn leaves. The reception was held at the residence of the bridegroom’s sister. Mrs F .Pycroft, Worcester street. Air and Mrs Franklin, who were the recipients of many handsome and useful presents, loti. the same evening for Auckland, the bride wearing a nigger brown costume with shoes to match, and a blue panne velvet hat.
