DISTRICT NURSING GUILD.
The regular monthly meeting of the District Nursing Guild was held this afternoon, Mr J. A. Nash,. AM'., in the cluur.. The report of the district nurse (Nurse MacLcun), showed that the number of patjehts visited was 29, and the number of visits paid 124. There, had been 15 new. cases during the month and of, those .icjfli;; were |>tUl being attended, '., One death tie-? curred and four patients- were taken to hospital, while four families had been' supplied with clothing. Donations of clothing were acknowledged from Mesdames J. R.Wood and A. Akers and several anonymous donors. The following monetary gifts.were also acknowledged:-—Mrs_ Ftinstou £l.ls, Miss Gauskd xfl,' "A Friend" IDs, Mr J. R. Wood, (weighing machine) £1 rj.t 6d, police ftat-ion box- 17s- sd.—Tlie .report w.as adopted. The . Pluniot. 'nurse ■ (Nurse .Wright) reported that nine new cases had been -at-tended-and 23 visits paid to homes. The visitors to the room during, tho month were 111 adults, 92 babies and 16 older children.
