RAM FAIR.
The first day of the Manawatu and West Coast annual ram fair was held today when Lincoln and Southdown breeds were penned. The numbers put up showed a big decrease from previous years and even then very few of- the linos were disposed of. The only lines sold by auction were: —Flock Southdown rams: lo G. Hughes (W.iverley) 4 at I3gns and 4 at. d2gns and 2 singles at 12gns; to M. Knight (Ivonini) 4 at 12gns and 1 at 12‘jgns: to S. Easton (Eoxton) 1 at 12igns.
