A very pretty .wedding was solemnised at All Saints' Church on 'Dec. 6 by Rev 11. G. Bluckburne, tlio contracting parties being Nita Violet, only daughter of Mrs.'Djckfn-son-Ilutton, of Cuba street, and Stanley Gordon, third son of Mr and Mrs A. P. lUisvall, of Broad street. The bride, who whs given away,'by Mr J. Lissington, of , Palmerston North, was daintily; attinad in ; a protty gown of ivory crepe dp chenc;trimmed with guiplirc lace and "orange-blossom, and a pretty picture hat of georgette was worn. She also 'carried a pretty bouquet of, white roses and asparagus fern. The bride was attended by* Miss Violpt Steer, as bridesmaid/the latter wearing a pretty dress of pale pink crepe' do chene and black tullo picture hat, and carried a pretty bouquet of pale pink dud blue sweet peas. Little Miss 1 Mavis Steer, who wore a. dainty frock of pale blue crepe de chener und lace straw,hat and carrying a basket' of pale pink sweet peas, .made a very pietty flower girl. Tlio bridegroom .was, attended by Mr Roy Hosking as best man.
