STRIKES IN HOLLAND.
BUILDING TRADES CONCERNED. A CONFLICT OCCURS. Anstralia-New Zealand Cable Association. Received February 6, 8.50 a.m. , LONDON. Fob. 5. The Daily Chronicle's Amsterdam correspondent says that’, the strike resulted in three thousand labourers, mostly engaged in’the'building trades, leaving work. The factories are entirely closed. A conflict occurred at a -strike meeting. The-police in charging were stoned. A regiment of Hussars has been brought to Amsterdam in /readiness for any emergency. ■ There is a similarly small proportion of the strikers at The Hague. The Rotterdam; strikers are deciding on Tuesday how long they will remain out.
